I bought Reading Russian Workbook on Amazon. Does it contain the audio component?
 
You have 2 options on Amazon.
 
 1) You can buy it directly from Amazon. In this case the book does not have an audio CD. This is the way it was set up in the beginning and we cannot change it.
The price is $15
 
 2) You can buy RR Workbook from Russian Step By Step on Amazon. In this case the book has an audio component. Unfortunately it is not clear on Amazon website until you purchase it. When you get a proof of purchase from RSBS seller, you will see that RR Workbook comes with Audio CD.
The price is $22.99

Therefore, if you bought RR Workbook on Amazon without audio component, you have 2 options to get it:

1) purchase Direct Download for $4.99 and listen to it on your computer or make a CD by yourself using Media Player or any other recording program;
 
2) buy an audio CD for $12.99 on our website.


I am a User after the registration. How to change my status to a Student?
 
First time you come to a website as a Guest.
 
After registration you get a User status, which allows you to listen to listen to the alphabet and post questions on the Forum.
After purchasing Direct Download you are eligible to change your status to
 
StudentRR (you have an access to the audio for Reading Russian Workbook)
 
Student1 (you have an access to the audio for Russian Step By Step, Level 1)
 
Student2 (you are able to access to the audio for Russian Step By Step, Level 2)
 
StudentF1 (you have a full access to all website materials for RR Workbook and RSBS Level 1)
 
StudentF2 (you have an acces to all website materials for RSBS Level 2)
 
StudentF12 (you have an aaccess to all website materials)
 
In order to change your status you have to Claim the access by filling out the form:
Go to Help – Claim.
In the Type of the audio field choose the audio which you purchased and send it to us.
 
Keep in mind: The system does not give the access automatically! To process the payment we use PayPal or Google Checkout. It might take 1-3 business days to proccess the payment.
Once we get the processed payment we verify your Login and give you the corresponding access. The email you used for Purchasing should match the email you used when you registered on the website.

I bought Direct Download. Can I copy and run Audio from my computer?
Yes, you can copy audio to your hard drive / MP3 player / CD disk / iPod.

To download the audio to your computer :

Right Click on the Track# (not on the blue bar) – Save as.


For what age groups are these books designed?
      These books are designed for different age groups: from 16 and up.
 
       Reading Russian Workbook can be also used with little kids: from age 5 and up. It has a lot of funny drawings and pretty easy to follow. We got a feedback from one of our customers who is using this book to teach a group of Elementary school kids.


Do I need special devices?
You can use your car CD/MP3 player or iPod/MP3 player as an optional audio device for audio tracks.


Do I need to preinstall anything to run Audio?
No, the audio tracks of "Russian Step by Step" book comes as a standard audio file which will run smoothly on your computer.


What are the system requirements?

    While learners must have written and verbal fluency in English in order to use the program, English does not need to be their first language.
