Verbs of Motion

       There are 14 special verbs in Russian that form a group called Verbs of Motion. Generally they describe every possible method of motion (to run, to swim, to crawl, etc.)
They come in pairs, and each pair denotes one method of motion.

Group1
Unidirectional, Describing the moment

Group 2
Multidirectional, Repetitive

Group 1:

Movement in a certain direction and at a certain time:
Я иду в библиотеку. = I am going to a library.

 
Group 2:

Movement without a definite direction or in different directions:
a) a repeated, regular movement;
б) a movement back and forth
 
Виктор ходит по комнате. = Victor is walking around the room.(Movements in different
directions) 
Мой сын ходит в школу = My son goes to school. (Regular action)
Сегодня мы ходили в кино. = We have been to the movies. (Went there and came back. Back and forth movement.)

honestly, i felt nervous too when i had to do skits in front of my spiansh class in first year but it's not bad at all, guarenteed, others will mess up pronounciation or their part and people will laugh but what i learned to do is just laugh along and don't take it too serious when you screw up. I don't really get nervous because i am in clubs whee i have to talk in front of groups of people but just look through your script once or twice and don't over think of a line because you might forget when you get up there. Just do it! this is weird but i usually look directly at the audience to help me feel better, like i look at whoever is looking straight at me and just say my line and try not to get red i mean ive been in worse situations before so this is nothing! think of it like that. good luck and just have fun!
